Five parties of Rojhelat Kurdistan, by issuing a written statement, announced the formation of the "Coalition of Political Forces of Iranian Kurdistan".
The Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK), the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan (PDKI), the Kurdistan Freedom Party (PAK), the Komala of the Toilers of Kurdistan, and the Organization of Khabat of Iranian Kurdistan, by issuing a written statement, announced the formation of the "Coalition of Political Forces of Iranian Kurdistan". In this statement, referring to the organized struggles of the Kurdish people and the illegitimacy of the Islamic Republic, it was announced: "Our main and common goals in this coalition are: the struggle to overthrow the Islamic Republic of Iran, the realization of the right to self-determination of the Kurdish nation, and the establishment of a national and democratic institution based on the political will of the Kurdish nation in Iranian Kurdistan."

"Statement of the Formation of the Coalition of Political Forces of Iranian Kurdistan
Combative people of Kurdistan!
Kurdish and Iranian political parties and movements!
Freedom-seekers and combatants across the country!
For decades, the national and political Kurdish movement in Iranian Kurdistan has fought in an organized and continuous manner against tyranny and centralist dictatorial rule in order to achieve its national and political rights. Following the 1979 revolution and the rise of the Islamic Republic, Kurdistan has also consistently been the stronghold and main center of struggle and resistance against this repressive regime.
Kurdistan has thus far paid heavy costs for its persistence and struggle; war has been imposed upon it, dozens of its political leaders have been executed or assassinated, and thousands of combative children and political activists have been martyred in the trenches of struggle and in confrontation with the forces of the Islamic Republic or have lost their lives in prisons. Furthermore, Kurdistan has always been administered by the government of the Islamic Republic as an occupied, militarized geography subject to policies of repression and plunder.
We, the political parties signatory to this "Coalition of Political Forces of Iranian Kurdistan", relying on the history of our struggle and efforts, and considering the necessity of responding to and redefining our role in Iran's current political situation—in which the Islamic Republic regime has no political legitimacy, yet remains in power due to the fragmentation of opposition political forces—have united our combative ranks in Kurdistan and, by announcing a political coalition, continue our persistent struggles.
The main goal of this coalition, which has been formed after a stage of exchange of views and field work within the "Dialogue Center for Cooperation", is unity and joint struggle to expand the Kurdish political movement in Iran, further enhance the role of Kurdistan and its political movement in the struggle against the Islamic Republic, secure the rights and freedoms of the people of Kurdistan, and redesign the future Iran.
